MEDIA CENTER EDUCATION SERIES
The Media Center ecosystem has emerged as an important new discipline for many residential integrators. In response to increasing demand for more training in this area, the Media Center Integrator Alliance has worked directly with CEDIA to deliver a series of elective classes that cover the fundamentals needed to successfully sell, design, and install these systems. A variety of industry professionals will participate in these sessions, and participants are sure to come away with an improved understanding of how to make the Media Center concept work in their own projects.

In this four-hour course, systems integrators will learn how to evaluate customer expectations and behaviors and design a system that delivers on those expectations using Media Center. This class is intended for designers and sales engineers who are involved in evaluating client needs, and specifying entertainment systems to meet those needs. Copy protection and control issues also will be covered.

- Understand customer needs and wants
- Draw a correlation between customer scenarios and Media Center technologies
- Understand topology options and the pros/cons of each option
